Blown

Casting by extrusion-blown may be defined as the process used to obtain hollow bodies by using a gas (generally air) to expand a hose of melted plastic inside the mold.

This process consists of four stages:

Fusion or plasticizing of the resin and melted transport (extruder);
Formation of the mold (header and nozzle);
Blown and molding of the parison; (mold)
Cooling and removal of the mold.
