Roto-molding

Roto-molding is a process in which the resin is transformed into hollow plastic pieces. The process comprises of four basic staged:

A default load of plastic material is put in the lower section of a cold mold, usually made in aluminum or steel.
The mold is closed and is rotated bi-axially within an over. As the mold is heated, the material begins to melt until that a uniform layer coats the internal surface of the mold.
Once the plastic is melted, the mold is transferred to a cooling chamber in which the bi-axial rotation continues until the solidification of the material.

Thereafter, the mold is open and the piece is extracted.
