Polyethylene and Olefins III Project - Ana María Campos Complex
This Project define the expansion plans of Polinter in order to support the Development Plan of the Local Plastic Industry and contributes with the enhancement of the plastic transforming industry as platform of the endogenous developments with sustainable economies that will be installed at Ana Maria Campos Transforming Complex.
Polinter increased the production to 430.000 TM/Year at 2006 with the Polyethylene High Density Line increase to 60.000 TM/Year and will produce 160.000 TM/Year.
During the term 2006-2011, Polinter will continue its expansion in order to increase the offer with 50.000 TM/Year at the High Lineal Polyethylene Plant and Down Density Plant, at the same time, will have a new unit to produce 150.000 TM/Year of 1-Butene and will be used as Comonomero in Polyethylene production.
At middle 2013, Polinter will have news production plants:

With the production of the two news plants, Polinter will have a production’s capacity of Polyethylene of 1.000.000 TM/Year to support the demand the transforming Venezuelan industry and thus guarantee the creation of 27.000 new direct jobs and 60.000 indirect as well.
The exceeding production of Polinter Hill is placed in Latin American regional markets, thus contributing with the strengthening of the country in the region and promoting the Latin American petrochemical integration.
